Wilmington Celebration Choir
Biography 2012
Pillar Music Group, Inc. (PMG) the parent company of the
Wilmington Celebration Chior, is a corporation formed to
produce, create and enable God's words to be sung, played
and shared with everyone. Joey Gore, President of PMG
produces the CD's of Pillar Recording Artists, Paula Greene,
Sherry Watkins, Willing Heart, Mike Kelly, Angie Gray, Ed
Tatum, The Promise, Kevin & Julie Foss, and Tender mercy.
All of these artists join with others to form the Wilmington
Celebration Choir (WCC)
The Wilmington Celebration Choir, formed in 2004, was the
brainchild of Joey Gore. After seven years of doing concerts
with the Pillar family of artists and the Pillar Choir, Joey felt led
to do something new in their ministry. The Pillar Choir and
artists, along with several other local community and church
choirs, merged to form a Gospel/Worship choir based out of
Wilmington, NC. The Wilmington Celebration Choir that you
hear today has over 60 voices representing 19 different
churches located in Southeastern North Carolina.
When the choir performs it is an energetic program of music
that will have you singing, praising, and moving into the
presence of God. Each concert is a unique time for life
changing experiences.
